This dresser is a piece from my husband's childhood bedroom. Rather than replace it, we gave it new life — restyled with fresh decor, new lighting, and a moody, layered palette that turned a hand-me-down into one of the room's best features. Many of our favorite transformations start exactly this way, with what you already own. It's easier on your wallet, and easier on the planet.
